The DCLead program is a unique master program with many Industrial partners and different academic institutes. For me it’s a perfect combination of academic and practical experience. It will allow me to gain the insight of social and ethical aspects of deploying IT systems. DCLead provided me the opportunity to study with the people who are all from diverse backgrounds. I believe this program will direct me towards the digitization for the betterment of society.

If I had to choose two things in life that I am passionate about are, without any doubt, people and technology. My development as a student, as a person and as an active citizen has made me highly aware of the fact that joining DCLead can help me get a better understanding on how society is being constantly shaped by ICT tools and how to have an active and ethical role in this process. In my search for a Masters program I was looking for a course which would not only compliment my academic experience but I would also be able to benefit from my professional experience during my studies. I choose DClead because I want to focus on the presence of social issues in different media outlets. The main areas of interests which lead me to apply were online democracy, education, and communication. The course lays a large emphasis on studying the social, ecomic, and political aspect of the digital. It is also a space where I can meet and work with like-minded people from all over the world. The program encourages its student to be initiative, independent, and ambitious.
